branded`market is 40 % of the category and non- branded contributes to 60% of
the market. The category is growing at a rate of 30%. Bisleri is the market
leader in mineral water in India with a 60% market share within organized
mineral water category. Three key players mainly dominate the Indian Bottled
Water Market Parle Bisleri, Coca Cola India Inc Kinley and Pepsico India
Holdings Pvt. Limited. This market is expected to grow at a 30% rate in the
next 7 years. Parle Bisleri continues to hold 40 per cent of the market
share. Kinley and Aquafina are fast catching up, with Kinley holding 20-25 per
cent of the market and Aquafina approximately 10 per cent. The rest, including
the smaller players, have 20-25 % of the market share.
